Claire has been a loyal member for many years at Ladypace.  6 Weeks ago she decided to do our highly successful 'Slim and Trim' Plan.  In 6 weeks she has lost 10 pounds and almost 10 inches! Claire looks amazing and is really pleased with her results!

Feeling fabulous ready for her holiday, Claire has vowed to continue her Slim and Trim journey when she returns.  Doing this diet has changed her outlook on nutrition and she has learned how to fuel her body properly with the right foods to achieve a better body an a healthier and more balanced lifestyle.  Claire always gives 100% in her workouts and particularly enjoys Piloxing, CardioCombat, and BarreConcept.  We look forward to the next chapter in her success story!


Julie Lewis Lakelin

Wow! Since January Julie has lost 4 stone 8 lbs and 46.25 inches and she isn't done yet! She has continued to impress us with her consistency throughout her gym and diet and really does prove hard work pays off! A huge well done to you! Julie started the Ladypace 6 week Slim and Trim Plan back in January and in her first month alone she lost 1 stone 7 lbs and an amazing 16.25 inches!

Julie decided she wanted to carry on with the plan as she found it worked well for her and it fitted in with her family life and made meal times easy. Overall Julie has now lost an incredible 4 stone 8 lbs and 46.25 inches in 6 months! Dropping a massive 4 dress sizes!!  She has also dropped 11% of her body fat and taken 8 years off her Metabolic Age !

Our Member Spotlight this month is Megan Silk!  She has lost an amazing 6.5lbs and 9.5 inches in her first 2 months at Ladypace!  Megan works extremely hard in the gym and attends 3-5 times a week. We are very proud of her transformation and her achievements so far!  Not only has she lost weigh and inches but she is fitter and healthier!  In her own words she says, "I feel so much more energised!  The wonderful fitness team have personalised my programme to my needs and fitness level, and it's amazing to see that it actually works!  The environment is non-intimidating with a lovely, relaxed atmosphere!" She now has a more challenging programme this month as she has become so much fitter and stronger; well done Megan!


Emma ANders

Emma has lost almost 8 lbs and 8.25 inches in just 6 weeks!  She joined Ladypace Shrewsbury gym originally just for the 6 week summer membership and hasn't looked back!

Since belonging to Ladypace she comes at Ladypace 3-4 times a week and works incredibly hard during her workouts.  She has worked closely with her fitness instructor Chloe to find the right fitness program and to increase the difficulty of her circuit programs as Emma has progressed with her strength and fitness!  The secret to her success Emma believes is as she says , "Enjoying the gym and my fitness sessions more than I ever thought I would.  I have received great support from the fitness team on a regular basis and I feel more driven now to get results and stay fit!"  Well done Emma!


Kayleigh Mcmillan Fletcher

Kayleigh joined Ladypace Gym Shrewsbury just 8 weeks ago and has already lost an amazing 9 lbs and 11 inches! Wow .... what an amazing start to her health and fitness journey!  Kayleigh has been pushing herself in our 30 minute HIIT circuits in the gym with the help of her fitness instructor Chloe Parry.  She has also regularly attended Spin classes and our popular HIIT and Strength class 'Metcon'.  After having had 4 children, she now feels happier and fitter than she has done in a while! Kayleigh has not only progressed in her fitness but she has made simple but effective changes to her diet.  Her journey is still ongoing and with her determination she will continue to achieve her goals!


Carla Ingram

I joined Ladypace almost a year ago hoping to lose weight after having four children and hopefully get a little fitter but, if I'm being honest, I had no real expectation or belief that my lifestyle would change. I had a fitness age of 45, was struggling to get into my size 14 clothes and thought I didn't have enough time in between children and work to squeeze in regular exercise. After 6 months of doing my tailored 30 minute workouts, three or four times a week, and reducing my carbohydrate intake, I had dropped 23 years, 33 inches, almost 2 stone, and 2 dress sizes. I was hooked! My instructor, Becky, has been hugely supportive and always very successfully tailored my workout to achieve my goals. More recently I have also started going to regular classes and love the challenge and sense of camaraderie they offer. I'm completely astonished by how much fitter and more confident I feel in my own skin and how easy going Ladypace has made it for me to incorporate regular exercise into my life.

Sally Alleyne

Congratulations to Ladypace member Sally Alleyne on her 90 day body transformation!  It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it. 'I've been a member of Ladypace for over 5 years and it took that long for me to pull my finger out. I just woke up one day and said "right...enough is enough. It's time to stop the rot before I get any bigger!" That was in June.

First of all I knew I had to get my diet sorted out. I'm a real carb fiend so I knew sugar had to go, and that meant all the other foods that made me crave sugar like bread and pasta. So with Suzanne's help I changed my eating habits completely and followed the Ladypace "Fat to Flat" diet. It was my nutritional bible. What's great about this diet, compared to all the others I've done over the years, is that it's so easy to follow and what's more I never felt hungry. I've never had a problem with getting into my exercise but I knew if I was going to nail it I needed some focused guidance. I saw Suzanne for an hour a week in the PT studio. She put me through a rigorous weights routine, targeting my legs, abs and gluts. I also used the PowerPlate which is probably the reason why my cellulite has vanished. I tried to do as many classes as possible each week as I could fit in but never missing Stronger, Kettlecamp and Piloxing and made sure I managed a 30 minute circuit at least once a week in Ladypace. Above all else my transformation would never have happened without the help and one to one support of Suzanne and the motivation of the Ladypace team. There's nowhere else in Shrewsbury where you can go and have a really good laugh and get sweaty at the same time! I'm off on a holiday of a lifetime and I feel fantastic, confident enough now to wear my bikini! I've still got a little way to go before I'm truly satisfied with my body shape, but I'm hoping that by Christmas I'll be partying in my little black dress!


Sasha Ford

I have my daughter to thank for persuading me to join Ladypace when she wanted to get fit for a Race for Life challenge. I was immediately put at ease by the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and the circuits that were geared to individual fitness levels. All the staff are helpful and encouraging and there is a wonderful feeling of being part of a fitness family. My aim was to get fitter and lose some weight - and soon the pounds and the inches were being whittled away. I didn’t have a specific goal when I started but I was thrilled when both of us were able to shop for smaller dress sizes and those sizes have remained the same four years on. Ladypace has become an integral part of my daily routine. The wide range of classes on offer are suitable for all levels and are all brilliantly motivating and expertly run, – I love them, they are quite addictive! I am fitter than I have ever been and all thanks to Ladypace and my daughter. Ladypace ladies love fun, and there’s lots to be had at the Ladypace gym

Since joining Ladypace I am fitter, slimmer and more energised. I’ve had ongoing problems with lower back pain but since doing Marie’s Pilates class I haven’t had any more back ache. The Ladypace staff are great – approachable, helpful and motivational. The team make me feel like an individual rather than just another number like some of the larger gyms do. Since joining I’ve gone from a size 14 to a size 10 and lost just over a stone. I’m very happy with my results and highly recommend the team at Ladypace.

Emma Louise Beesty

When I joined I had my first 'weigh and measure'. At Ladypace they've got these really great scales which tell you your fitness age. I'm 30 years old so you can imagine my shock when I was told that my fitness age was 50! Anyway, I decided that the next time I stood on the scales I would definitely be younger. After 18 months of working out four times a week I have lost 3 1/2 stone and an amazing 33 inches taking me from a size 22 to a size 12! And now I have a fitness age of a 19 year old! My zest for life is great and I have so much more energy. I also sleep better. I have reached my goal weight loss but I still want to lose a few more pounds. Marie and the team have been always been fantastic, always positive and full of praise even when I've had a bad week. I'm such a happier person now and it has done me the world of good for my physical and mental health.

Weight loss - 3 stone, Inch loss - 46.5" Gosh! Is this story really about ME! Thanks to my teenage daughter, who recommended Ladypace, I have lost nearly 3 stone and 46.5 inches in just six months! Following a 'weigh and measure', my personal gym programme and induction, and a detailed introduction to the low carb 'Fat to Flat' diet, I thought I would give it my best shot. I was not happy with my life because of my weight. I would rather stay at home than go out and the idea of going on holiday was very stressful. Marie and the fitness team have helped me achieve so much during my three or four visits a week. The atmosphere is welcoming and fun and there is always someone there for encouragement and support.

Having dropped three dress sizes I now love retail therapy and I can't wait to go on holiday this Summer! I even put my new found fitness to the test and managed to walk all the way up Rodney's pillar without stopping. I do have one regret though - I wish I'd joined Ladypace ten years ago!
